Granted, I just came came back from my company Xmas party and had some wine but a conversation with a Met fan co-worker there made it all so obvious: * The bloody nose * The missing am practice * The clubbing * The A-list model girlies, one after another * The jacked-up bullshit in Game 6. Hovvey is a coke fiend. Yes? No? Why have we overlooked this?

While we're piling circumstantial evidence upon circumstantial evidence: the proudly downtown lifestyle, the Matthew Perry-like he's fat/he's thin/he's fat/he's thin physique changes, the insistence on rehabbing in the city, and the possibly paranoiac public feuding with the team.

Game 5 I meant. In retrospect, seems obvious that Hovvey went for a quick bump after the 8th, then sprinted out to the mound, jumped on it, and proceeded to walk a guy then give up a double.

Nah, I just think his dumbassedness is from not having a fully developed frontal lobe. As for the nose bleeds, I used to get a bunch. Doc said it was from some cholesterol meds I was taking and a blood vessel "close to the surface." Had some laser work done, haven't lost a drop of blood in 10 years. He might be allergic to the polyester uniforms.

Phencyclidine (PCP) Looks like Cocaine is generally out of your system in a few days so probably hard to catch if you're not a chronic user.
