It's weird when you see Pennant ContendersTM making a (not particularly strike-y-out-y) starting-pitcher Rule V pick, isn't it? Give it some time. Unless they give us something back, I don't think he's staying for the year.

Bowman was a little righty out of Princeton who was opening eyes as a sleeper prospect but really shat the bed in AAA this year.

Angels took one-time Met Deolis Guerra -- part of the package for Johan Santana -- out of the Pirate org. Guerra made major league debut this year (17 IP) but was hit hard and will get another look in Los Angeles.
