Can you imagine? Somewhere, not fully formed, in the head of a kid who drives his or her parents crazy by humming-HUMMING-HUMMING allthefreakingtime! is the song that will one day unseat "StH" on these lists. I mean, it has to happen sometime, right? In the great fullness of time? And someday, some geriatric deejay (or whatever you call the post-disc equivalent) will say, "And at number two, we have... holy crap... freaking 'Stairway' is at number two, which means we have a new number one! I hope I live long enough to survive one more airing of 'Stairway to Heaven' so I get to find out what this new champ is!"
