The Annual Charity Thing
Chad Ochoseis Dec 01 2015 11:58 AM |
Well, hey, all. Yes, I know. It's Giving Tuesday. I had no idea that there was such a thing until a cranky FB friend (hint...he lives in Boston and plays a mean game of Scrabble) posted something about it. So you've been internet-bombed with all sorts of solicitations today.

You filled my heart in 17 places, Coo. The WTAP was founded after my friend Terry was killed at the World Trade Center attack. His brothers knew that they didn't want to respond to death with more death, so his sister-in-law came up with the idea of reaching out to refugees, and so showing folks the best that America could be, and she started doing just that. (And yeah, it's hard to believe the environment is more hostile now than it was then.) Every time I think of them, I think of Terry, so yay, and thanks. Kong, the Esophagael Cancer Action Network just got a happy ping.

Never would've heard of this wonderful org if not for this cool, little thing we do. What great work done in his memory. Also, my brain tries to flip letters and make the acronym mean Wild-Ass Trade Proposal.
