The tears-to-cheers story is one of the most memorable moments in a very memorable year.
A game in which the lead in the pennant race was increased to five games doesn't even come close, and will be long forgotten while we still remember Wilmer's triumphant moment.

Don't like the headline though, his tears become our cheers? seems cruel, especially when the media had such a part in the tears. And the 'Cespedes on the way' afterthought annoys me.

And what's that an in-lay of?

And I think that's probably the third or fourth choice of photos of the moment I would've picked, especially with "Still-A-Met" text.

I'm right with Ceetar. Better story? Certainly. Better coverage in headline and photo editing? No way.

And that's what you look to the tabloids for.

OK, but what does "Capital Thrill" mean?
Another DC sex scandal?
Not really as meaningful to or clearly descriptive of the story as the other one.
But, I guess that's why we're voting on these.

Exciting game. (Thrill) Played in Washington DC. (Capital). And it rhymes with "Capitol Hill"

This one ain't fair. Two high watermarks and one actually involved water.

This is a tie in my mind. If I have to pick one I'll go with Wright. After that series I really believed.
