Eudor Garcia, Class-A third baseman, that's who.

Bumetanide. Furosemide. 80 games-aside.

Eudor joins repeat offender Jenrry Mejia, Appy League reliever Conor Buchman, fellow Kingsport right-hander Ricard Jacquez, Gulf Coast League hurler Derrick Bernard on the drug offender/suspended list.

Plus Hansel Robles who has something like a three-game suspension handing over his head.

Seems like a lot of guys in the Mets farm-system are getting busted.

I realize my exposure is skewed because I only pay attention to Mets-related news, but I would guess this is more than normal.

Or to stop cheating.
The suspensions don't seem to work. Maybe they should ban the fuckers.
One strike, you're out. Go flip burgers or wash cars.
Next.

and just let the guys taking all the stuff that's technically legal or undetectable play? Until we're sure the game is 99+% clean (i.e. never) I would rather Mets players be doing whatever they can to get an edge.

Re: Who's Under Suspension

Also minor league baseball players are criminally underpaid, do what you need to do to make it.

Or organize and lobby for a fair and equitable wage.

The idea that minor leaguers are underpaid, so they need to spend what little they have on illegal and dangerous pharmaceuticals, is risible. It's just another level of exploitation.

Re: Who's Under Suspension

Actually, why wait until players hit the minors for them to juice up? If
better juicing techniques were available to high school players, the Mets
would get better draft picks!

I'm under no illusions that promising HS/college players are all very juicy.

Are or aren't, doesn't matter. Rooting for it is another ball of wax.

They don't need to take better drugs; they need to take drugs better.

Re: Who's Under Suspension

Well, Bernard and José Martinez, who I forgot to list above, have both been released, making the Mets something like 40% less druggy.

Remember when Mets' prospects smoked pot? At least this is a step in a competitive direction.
