A key precedent here, with much in the balance

This poll is unneccessary as I've provided edvidence to it's Revolutionariasm.

In 1-on-1 Whiffleball, when you don't get a real good piece of it and it rolls toward the pitcher so slowly that he can't help but pick it cleanly for an out, we called that "cheap," -- and it counted only as a foul ball, even if it was in fair territory. If a ball was hit such that that you *had to ask* whether it was cheap or not, that in itself indicated it was cheap.

From Willets' precious Wikipedia (emphasis added):

]Following the album, Prince launched the Sign O' The Times Tour in Europe. At the end of the last tour Prince disbanded his long-time performance band, known since the release of the movie and album Purple Rain as The Revolution

It says "Revolution" on the freakin' 1999 album cover. Stop splitting hairs.

(In the 1 in Pr1nce)

Just because it's in tiny backwards print doesn't mean that Prince recorded the whole thing himself and we don't give credit to the people who were his backing band since the 1970's.

I actually have no opinion on this matter, but I generally think of Prince as a solo artist and his "band" as hot chicks who shook tambourines and such.

But I really have zero authority on the matter.

Why don;t you guys settle it with a Whiffleball game?

I never saw that. I think that trumps the matter.

Good. Now nuke this thread and post some Heartbreaker's songs. Please.

I never saw it either. I think it only exists on Willets' copy but fine.
