You Suck

You haven't seen this crowd for a few years, but one of them emails you to tell you they're getting together for a birthday party a bar, so you think, you may as well show up and get caught up after all this time, and you get permission, and you schlep into Manhattan on a freezing night, and you have a beer in a crowded dive bar, and you wait, and you wait, and you can't recognize anyone but think maybe you don't because it's been a long time, and you finally pull out your cell phone and call, and you realize you're there on the wrong night. You suck.

when you're older, you'll understand.... married folks must seek permission from their other before they are able to have fun. its one of the perks, really.

Psst: This is thread where the things you did, and things you said, prove you suck, only you do it as if you're telling someone else, because if you said you did it in the first person, then you'd REALLY suck, because there's no "I' in Suck.

You spent 43 dollars for a pair of concert tickets and promptly ("within 15 minutes" promptly) lost them. You suck.

You screw-up big-time but think you can redeem yourself with a funny thread that everyone will turn to when they screw up, only they don't turn to it, even when they screw up. You suck.

Perhaps we never screw up ;) Okay, here's one very minor, not like concert tickets... I once bought some really pretty earrings and all the way home I thought about how great they were going to look on me and I was planning what to wear them with, etc etc, and I walked into our apartment and went into the bathroom to try them on and promptly dropped one of them down the drain in the bathroom sink. I'll bet I stared at the sink drain for five minutes. Then, 20 years later, I sat down and typed all that out, hit "enter", only to find out that I had been logged out while I was typing it.
