Deadpool (2016)

Personally I found it sadistic and bloody, but also hilarious. Plot made little or no sense, but that was pretty much irrelevant. Always wondered how you could have a massive battle in a major city on something larger than an aircraft carrier without a single cop or ambulance showing up, but hey, it's the movies.

I didn't really like it. I'd give it two stars out of five. To me, it was silly without being funny, at least for the most part.

Wait, what? We were supposed to wear pants?

****- which would translate into roughly ecru-colored pants.

No. Its probably just Detroit. They burn cars to celebrate sports victories there. A battle involving superheroes is no biggie to them. Haven't seen the movie yet. Later

i wasn't overawed as much as the general consensus, probably because I couldn't stomach another origin story. The film mostly succeeded because its flippant, tongue-in-cheek, breaking the fourth wall moments rather than its R rating. No sure whether all the violence added that much, which raises the question of whether it was done mostly for marketing purposes.

5*: I can't remember the last time a movie made me laugh this hard even hours later...
