He's not just a stirrup guy, he's a stirrup guy with style, purpose, and a system.

So who says that nothing interesting happens in spring training?!?

Re: Sean Gilmartin's Socks

I can't read the whole article unless I register. But I get the jist of it.

I used to wear the long stirrups when I played. And I'd tuck em up in the bottom of the baseball pants, which were short, ending at the mid calf or just below the knee, depending on how you tucked 'em.

Usually doesn't hurt to register. And in this case the article even comes with diagrammed instructions.

He said he learned it from his father, who played minor league ball, who in turn learned it from his father who had also played.
And I think it also goes without saying that both Gilmartins, pere et fils, are left-handed. Not sure about gramps.

The illustrations make it look like The Joy of Socks.

Groan!
But it was a joyful groan.
Kudos.

That's a home run for Andrew Beaton, the newest Beatle.

Awesome graphics! Mets gear too! They have his beard and everything. :)
My way had the same result but no one got to see my pink hearted underwear.

Get out, that was classic comedy. I might have to do a mock up of the The Joy of Socks book cover.

I was gonna say, there's no way Sean Gilmartin's Socks don't rate a Mets Fantasy Card.
