Soothsaying for Sixteen: Sean Gilmartin

I was a Rule V grab. And while the Mets prepared to carry me through the season, I kinda carried my own weight. Do THAT, Rocky Cherry! That's right, I put up a 3.50 ERA. and I re-wrote the book on wearing stirrups. Plus, the Mets got the Rule V guy they lost back. HERE'S TO THE RULE V, GUYS!! Anyhow, all that noise doesn't necessarily mean there's room for me this year, and they no longer have to carry me to keep me. Here's where the rubber hits the road, folks. What's it gonna smell like? Gilmo will get some work, but not right away. 2-1, 12 games (1 start), 19 innings, 3.50. That one start is Game 2 of a make-up DH, goes 5 IP, no decision.

Sent to AAA to be re-stretched out as a starter (he used to be one). Then, called up in September for a few spot starts. 1-3 3.85. Later
