Soothsaying for Sixteen: Robert Gsellman

Two words: Sterling Award. Organizational pitcher of the year. While prospect watchers were talking about your Marcos Molinases or Chris Flexens or your, I dunno, Gabriel Ynoas, I was just getting it done in St. Lucie and Bingo. Thirteen wins in the minors, lockin' 'em down to the tune of a 2.89 ERA. Strikeouts? Who needs 'em? I keep my defense involved, man!

So, I'm starting the season at, like, 12th in starting pitching depth, but I've got helium. And things could change, or bullpen transitions could happen. In a world where consonants like G and S could collide at the top of a name, ANYTHING can happen!

So what's going to happen?

May get a spot start or two in NYC this season.

Harvey.s replacement in free agency? Never know.

Probably a late season call-up and will pitch few innings to a 3.85 ERA.

But, every time I see his name in print, I get a chuckle thinking about how Ralph Kiner would have tried to pronounce his name.
I miss Ralph.
