I heartily endorse this product

I have vague memories that a few years ago, we used to have a thread where we posted recommendations for various goods or services that were particularly good or serviceable.

Anyway, Tuft and Needle mattresses. $600 including shipping for the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on (queen size). And I was an annoying customer. I live in a gentrifying neighborhood where packages often get swiped off porches, so I made a point of checking to be sure that they were dropping the package off at the 24 hour FedEx office a few miles away from me. And I checked. And checked. And they always gave me polite, friendly service.

And after I sent them an e-mail thanking them, they sent me some nice gifts. The post office guy left them on my doorstep but, fortunately, they weren't swiped.

I always loved this thread.

KC was, at one point, a reasonably enthusiastic endorser of the DSC. I take it that his enthusiasm is on the wane.

They answered my email pretty quick and reshipped so we'll see.

Does anyone have or know someone who has those garden hoses that are
light and soft when not in use? like these

I need new hoses this spring and I'm intrigued by not having to lug around
heavy hoses but also wary because you often get what you pay for.

My mom has one. I could ask her how she likes it (I know what you mean, hoses LEAK if they are cheap)

Thanks! I've seen the commercials and they look cool.

Didn't perform as advertised? Leaked? Didn't last?

Anyone familiar with Quell?
I ordered one today, will be here Thurs. My insurance tells me pain management is
covered by my HRA but my card was declined. Not in the mood to do phone battle today,
but of course they realize this means war.

It's pretty queool so far. If you've ever done any kind of pt with electrode
stimuli it's the same sensation. It has a phone app that bluetooth's to the
device and it controls tracking, intensity etc. Relieves arthritic pain better than
lower back pain so far but it's early in the game. I haven't worn it while sleeping
yet which is an option.

Looks like it's not covered by insurance which is aggravating on several levels.
It's not terribly expensive but ridiculous. Generic ibuprophen and naproxen
sodium are covered and I'm sure if I call Dr Vinny Boombotz and got some nar-
cotics they'd gladly reimburse that. Responsible non-med relief, sorry no can do.

The system is broke, but everyone reading this already knows that.

Thinking about dumping Dollar Shave Club after the summer. Feels like
the quality of the blades has diminished and now they sent me an upgrade
for one month free to try and get me to pay more next month.

New and Improved But Costs More is Marketing 101.

I'm still on the same blade since March or so I think.

I've got replacements but they forgot to take the damn plastic packaging off, so I need to break it open. I just haven't yet because I heard you can trick them open with magnets and I really wanted to like, put an egg in there, seal it, and put it in my friend's fridge.
