Soothsaying for Sixteen: Neil Walker

Hi, I'm Neil Walker, born and bred in Pittsburgh and a career-long Buccaroo. Bet you didn't think I was this good. Well, I'm sort of a big deal. One of those secondbasey guys who does it all consistently, despite having no particular stat or tool that'll pop your eyes out. I'm Bill Doran. I'm Frank White. I'm Glenn Hubbard. I'm Mark Grudzielanek. Maybe I'm none of those guys, but I think I'm pretty good, and I think you're starting to think so too. But I can't speak for you. You need to speak for yourself. He's good, but he's not THIS good. But 20/80/.280 with competent fielding will be more than enough to put Danny Boy behind us.

Would require Dilson to be pounding at the door, needs arising elsewhere, etc., but a strong possibility for an emotionless front-office. So I'll predict 12-55- .270/.315/.440 thru July or 20-89 .265/.310/.425 for the year.

I'm glad this thread went up late because I would have said he'll suck ass hairs but so far just wow. I suppose water will seek it's level and he'll be what he's been in 2016 for Los Metsies. Is this the last guy? Ooops, forgot we have at least Wheeler to come.

His year end numbers will look like the others on the back of his baseball card, maybe with a slight park or divisional adjustment. .280-17-78. Later
