Probably the 1965 OTG 7/24/65?

Sometime between Opening Day 1965 and July 17, 1965, when he was released.

It can't be the 1965 old-timers' game, because in 1965 Spahn wasn't an old-timer. And neither was Eddie Mathews, who's there with him. And if it's a regular game in 1965, why are Spahn and the Braves both in home uniforms? It could be a Braves-Cubs game, but that leaves the question of what Spahn's doing there (and who's the old guy on the right in what looks like Mack Jones's number 48?). Maybe it's a spring training game, and Spahn just decided to drive the four hours over to West Palm Beach to see his old teammates. It could be an old-timers' game a few years later, but if it was held by the Mets, then the Braves wouldn't be in home uniforms. And if it was held by the Braves, then Spahn wouldn't be a Met. It can't be the 1965 All-Star game, because Spahn wasn't on the team and wouldn't have been in uniform (and certainly not a home uniform--it was held in Minnesota).

Re: Warren Spahn Mets pic

Here's what I can figure out from looking at the picture: It's a reunion of sorts of teammates on the great Milwaukee Braves teams of the late 50s -- Eddie Mathews, Warren Spahn, Lew Burdette and Bob Buhl. The Mets debuted their jerseys with numerals on the fronts at the start of the '65 season, so that shot can't be from Spring Training. Burdette was sold to the Phillies on May 30, 1965, so the latest date for that pic is either the 29th or 30th of May. I'd also rule out an Old Timer's Game because the four players were all active on the day the photo was shot.

That's all I got.

Bang Zoom. For that comment, your punishment is to watch Turkish Batman in its entirety and tell us what your favorite and least favorite scenes are.

That looks a lot like Chuck Tanner, #48 in the corner. Other than that and what you've figured out, who knows. Back then I think they were a lot looser about what uni was worn in spring training games so I wouldn't necessarily go by that.

Yeah, but as far as I know, which I can't document, the Mets didn't have those front numeral unis with them in Spring Training at Butterball Field. The number unis were shipped to New York and were waiting for the Mets to arrive.

Besides, the Cubs trained in Arizona in 1965, so that can't be a Spring Training shot.

That dugout sure looks rinky-dinkyish, though.
