Golf -- 2016

There's an old (and far too frequently over-used) expression about 'THE MASTERS' that the tourney really get going until the leaders reach the back nine on Sunday. Today that one happened to be true.
Defending champ Jordan Speith, who led after all four rounds last year and again at the end of each of the first three rounds this year, had a 5 shot lead halfway through today. Three holes later he was down by 4 and was never able to recover.

Englishman Danny Willets is your champion after starting the day tied for 5th. And, GOOD LORD!, if Dustin Johnson (aka: Mr. Pauline Gretzky) could ever learn to freakin' putt he'd have maybe four majors already!!

The one thing that I remember about watching the Masters over the years is admiring and envying their weather. I guess this weather we are having isn't so unusual.

That's because it's April.
That club actually closes for the summer on account of it being TFH (too fucking hot) to play golf in Georgia in July/August.

The Ernie Els 7-putt from 2 feet away warmed my heart. It's rare that you watch a Masters and say, "Hey, I could do better than that!"
