Starry Starry Night

On Tuesday my baby grandson Vincent had surgery on his lung. We found out when my daughter was 20 weeks pregnant that he had a mass near his lung, a condition that I believe is called CPAM. We knew this was coming for a long time. It was done at Hershey Childrens Hospital and stayed at the Ronald McDonald House there.

The good news is that he came through with flying colors and is now ready to go on with his life and the rest of us can breathe!

Big sister spent the week with us (hot early week cold now) and Pappy and I had a blast! She and I are now waiting for daddy to come pick her up (it's his birthday!)

She got to vote, dig in my garden, and even wear some of mommy's old clothes that I had saved.

I will miss this darling little girl but it's time for this little family to be reunited.

(I don't think the cats will miss her!)

It's her daddy's birthday :D

I had to make a few edits to that, lol. Try typing with a two year old nearby haha!

And here is Vincent ready to leave :)

Very pleased to find that all went well and Vincent is doing well. Both he and his big sister are beautiful young children.

How cute is he?
Glad that medical stuff now in the rear view mirror.
High fives all around.

That's fantastic!

How is he doing with his recovery from the surgery? At that age they can be very resilient.

Re: Starry Starry Night

That is so true!

His daddy told me the other day that he is acting perfectly normal! He does have four small incisions which they have to keep bandaged on a very active baby :D

I can't wait to get back to my regular routine of watching him on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I adore this darling child and his big sister too.

Good news, and best wishes for a lifetime of pulmonary health.
