Matz to skip next start!

Gelbs via Twitter: Mets are skipping Matz's start on Saturday. Elbow soreness. No tests scheduled as of yet. Will see docs in NY when the team gets back. That's not good even if things are good.

The Post is already quoting the team as saying he feels "100% better" today as opposed to on Tuesday. If nothing else this just fits into the season long plan of limiting his starts/innings.

Frigging Matz. I knew as soon as I expressed CAHNfidence in him he'd screw me over. Also Wright has a sore shoulder from making all those shifty sidearm throws, and he's sitting too.

Worrisome. I almost wish they just said they were gonna skip his start as a matter of routine. I always prefer the truth but when it's about a pitcher's arm hearing news like that is always so scary.
