Looking ahead to the All-Star Game

Mets Guy in Michigan

I know it's still a ways away and a lot can happen in six weeks.

But with Terry managing the NL squad and having some say in selecting the team, I expect the Mets to get less screwed than normal.

I'd have to figure that Syndergaard is a lock, and Cespedes, if there is justice in this world. But who else can you make a case for?

Matz is a rookie, but it's hard to argue with those stats. Maybe Walker, if he heats up again?

If Matz continues his 2016 ways I think he's an all-star.

I'll chime in after 30 days pass.

Fammy a shoe-in I figger. But do we or TC want him pitching in it?

I like those 3, with Matz and Conforto just on the outside looking in (at present).

Madison Bumgarner wants to participate in this summer's HR Derby.
He has 13 career ML HRs, including 11 in 175 ABs since the beginning of 2014 (twice off Kershaw). That pace projects to over 31 per 500 ABs
