As long as we don't have to face Fernandez with a lineup devoid of Duda, d'Arnaud, Wright, Cespedes, and Lagares ... oh wait!

These Eddie Sez segments are amazing, in that they feature this guy having the least controversial ideas in the world (at least, ideas that should be uncontroversial) and they treat them as dangerous heresy falling from the lips of a hotheaded layperson digging his own grave.

Daddy needs some offense.

Gah, a weak single up the middle plates the first run of the game.

DeAza will have to do a bit more to be immortalized in digital cardboard.

12 K's. He don't need seven guys behind him.

A runner on third for the first time, and I find myself rooting for a wild pitch.

Harvey's grinding. This is it for he.

Well, they outlasted Fernandez so here's their chance.

According to BB-Ref (and adding on today's two hits) fully 1/4 (24.96%) of Ichiro's MLB hits have been infield hits. 690 or 2,767

And our guardian angels in Cincinnati couldn't keep their streak going either.

At least Harvey turned in his second straight strong outing. Hopefully, he has worked out his problems from earlier today. There is little other good to take from this loss. The Mets desperately need to get their offense straightened out. Of course getting Cespedes back in the line up and getting Conforto out of his month long funk would help immensely.

This^. We took the series. I'll take that every time. AND Harvey pitched like Harvey.
