Sad for David. This is a guy who busted his ass every day just to be able to walk onto a major league baseball field. But you can't help but wonder if favoring the back is connected to this, and if he'll ever really be fit enough to play again.

Me too. It seems the immediate goal is to stabilize the neck for 6-8 weeks and then re-evaluate.

So best case scenario is a repeat of last season with David. Woe is me. I hope we get at least that much, and I really hope he gets another go in The Big Show.
