Reyes = 'Intercostal Strain'

... apparently during his final AB in Game 2.
Personally I liked it better back before players even had intercostals. They didn't used to have obliques in those days either.

Anyway, this sounds like it's going to be another one of those 'two to three days' thing (at least for now - could be major surgery before the week is out, who knows) so it looks like a way for Wilmer to get some playing time, or maybe a Flores/Johnson platoon if Terry is intent of limiting WF vs RHPs.

I like how the arithmetical title of the thread suggests that beyond Reyes having an injury, Reyes is an injury.

Google can be a pain in the ass sometimes. I was trying to search inter-coastal
mussels
and it kept correcting me asking if I meant intercostal muscles.

I know what I type, dammit...

Intercostal strain in the neck.

Re: Reyes = 'Intercostal Strain'

Several years ago, I thought I had cracked some ribs, but after XRays and an evaluation I was diagnosed with a torn intercostal muscle. Didn't effect movement, but it hurt like hell to cough or lay down on my right side for a few weeks. Hopefully, Reyes does miss much time.
