I don't get this whole thing. Was he at a gay club or something? What's the deal with security footage at a gas station? Why is the Olympic guy essentially saying "kids make mistakes let him go" He's 32!!

Ryan made it back to the states didn't he? or are they sending him back? Stuff still seems a little suspect and the reported offenses doesn't seem 'yank the passport and pull them off the plane' worthy.

so reading up on this I guess the JV sung? The guys got shitfaced, wrecked a gas station bathroom, tried to buy the security guard off, and then made up a bullshit story as cover in the event the story got out? That would be great to see this guy perpwalked

As though it needs to be any worse than it is already, the fact that Lochte cast himself as the hero in his bullshit story is just so arrogant. I'm hoping so hard it comes out there were Brazilian trannies involved.

Yeah, this merciless Washington Post takedown finds the most indicting thing is that the "JV" was expected to cover his back by affirming his story, while his story had them all cowering on their knees while he stood defiant and courageous.

i heard they were allowed to leave Brazil. They shouldn't have been. Robberies are a serious issue down there and a prominent foreigner falsely reporting one sets a really bad precedent for everyone, including other Olympic athletes who may actually have issues.
