I'm not losing a son, I'm gaining a daughter

As many of you know, my family and I just returned from a week long vacation at Maya Beach on the coast of Belize. We had a wonderful time, though Hurricane Earl put a damper on things for a day when it arrived overnight on Wednesday. Otherwise, the weather was absolutely beautiful the remainder of our week and we had a great time. We visited the ancient Mayan ruins of Xunantanich near the Guatamala border on Monday. My son surprised his girlfriend of three and a half years by proposing atop the Mayan Temple. My son had told us that he wanted to make the proposal special and memorable. I think he succeeded.
