Thanx guyz. I had planned more additions but this was time sensitive. By tomorrow we could be in the drivers seat. I wanted the add Ronnie but did not find a suitable pic in time (I might update). The muppet represents Gelbs. I don't mean that as an insult, he's just a muppet kinda guy. I tried to get in as many players as possible but still many are left off. There is some room there for more.

Over the past calendar year only 3 relievers (Jansen, Chapman, Betances) have a lower FIP than Addison Reed's 1.90 The importance of Yoenis Cespedes: Mets are 59-46 when he starts in 2016. Mets are 15-20 when he doesn't start in 2016. The last time Jeurys Familia walked a batter was on August 1st, he has pitched 15.2 innings since and has struck out 20 in that span. See Familia shake-off Travis on that last pitch? I was thinking, once he got to 0-2 on Flowers, that the next two pitches at least would be splitters he'd bury in the dirt. But after the shake-off they went upstairs and Flowers had zero chance. I wonder if that shake-off was real or just for show?

I couldn't pay 100% attention until around the 6th inning and that's when everything started to happen. :) Great game, great comeback. TS: Mets are 15-4 in their last 19 games. If they go 15-6 in their last 21 games, they will be a 90-win team. Again. Mets have matched their season high watermark of 9 games over .500. They also have the easiest remaining schedule in baseball. ( I dont buy that easiest schedule shit. On paper it looks good but this is baseball. I mean, look at tonights game...) The Mets are 14-3 with Cespedes in the lineup since his return from the DL. Giants currently down 4-3 in the 4th.

For some reason I can't explain I feel more excited at this time in 2016 than I was in 2015. Maybe I was in shock last September. This year I feel all giddy and excited, positive and confident. Like, they are going to do this. They know it, we know it, everyone knows it. They just have to do it.
