Terry in the postgame paid respect and homage to the occasion last night but reading not too deep between the lines, he basically said, "enough of this." I don't know if they'll win, but I think they'll be, per Keith, on point.

Not for nothing, a good chunk of that last night was TC's fault when he let Bartolo bat even though he was throwing batting practice out there.

Good news is that Tom "Stupid Guy" Koehler is on the hill, he's usually not smart enough to defeat the Mets.

Re: IGT 9/27/16 NYM@FLA Back on the Chain Gang

So is any active pitcher (he says while looking in Grimm's direction) even close to Tom Kohler in starts vs the Mets?
Tonight is 21st game vs the Mets and his 18th start. Even the other NL East squads aren't all that close WAS (13), PHI (14) and ATL (12) so it just seems that his starts line up against ours each time the teams meet.

I figure if anyone has more it would have to be an older pitcher (Kohler just turned 30 this year) but there's no one currently in the NL East with that long a career under his belt and the unbalanced schedule wouldn't give out of division guys that many chances.

I'd think he's got to have a leg up on the 2017 2B starting job. I'm forgetting whether Walker's a straight FA at the end of the season, or if there's a club option, but either way, I wouldn't want to risk the balky back.

Thor and Reyes w/ back to back singles to start the 6th. Asdrubal flies out softly. Up to Cespedes and Granderson to bring in some insurance runs.

Okay it falls to Granderson to get a 2 out RBI.
