I got jumped by four teenage boys about two weeks ago, and held them off until some passing motorists came to my aid. That's about the third time in my many days that I've gotten jumped by strangers. As much as my heart raced, I've never had to look down the barrel of a gun. Glad you're OK.

Glad no one was hurt. Being robbed sucks, being violently robbed must really suck. Get some rest if you can; talk to someone professionally if your mental state doesn't improve the next day or so.

I'm glad to hear that you escaped unhurt, which the most important thing. I can only imagine having a gun pointed at you would be traumatic experience that could truly shake a person .Hang in there and find someone you can talk to about the experience if you need.

I mentioned in this space a few years back about getting slugged in the face buy a mentally unbalanced guy. Speaking for myself, I had waves of depression and anxiety come over me (more so than usual) for a few weeks afterwards. My personality was different and I could tell but I couldn't really correct it very well. There's no shame in recognizing that and reaching out to somebody through your health plan. Happens to anybody. You got all that adrenaline rushing through your body and nothing to do with it. It's awful. Talk to somebody or you'll end up throttling the UPS guy or something.
