May all celebrating tonight and tomorrow have a peaceful fast and be inscribed in the Book of Life..

I forgive all who have harmed me, by word or by deed, either intentionally or unintentionally.
And I ask forgiveness from all I have harmed, by word or by deed, either intentionally or unintentionally.

Yes - may it be a meaningful and easy fast for those who observe!

Re: Yom Kippur

I went looking for a Yom Kippur cake and then I realized that those who fast don't want to see a cake. But I have to post something.

I don't know what this food is, or what that embroidery says, but I hope its appropriate. It looks good. Have a good day.

Re: Yom Kippur

The twisted challah bread is traditional for Sabbath and holiday meals, and is appropriate break the fast food.

Thank you for the lovely wishes :)

Thank you.
That was a nice, and appropriate, gesture.

Re: Yom Kippur

i spent Tuesday night and Wednesday eating cheeseburgers and cursing my enemies... was that wrong? I get so confused on the whole wrong/right thing. But i'm never confused about challah. Challah is an absolute good, any day of the year.

Your post reminds me of the perverse pleasure I get from eating meat on Good Friday.

Re: Yom Kippur

isn't it meat that makes a Friday good in the first place?
