Welcome to The Wilpon Appreciation Thread (TWAT)! All of us card-carrying members of PAW would have roasted them if they hadn't ponied up the money for Cespedes. Now that they have, it's only right that we give thanks for living up to their end of the bargain. Sure, Sandy played the situation perfectly, but he wouldn't have been able to do dick without $110 million of Fred's money to back him up. So thank you Fred. Thank you Jeff. Ces in a suit is a stunning sight. He partially disrobes to don his Mets jersey which looks very comfortable set upon the earthy tones of his shirt and tie.

Just slapped Jeffs face up there and re-created the smoke effect. This one took hours, days even. This is my favorite from that old JWiHistory thread (favorite that I created-I think some others that were posted were higher on my list). AND, maybe Jeff does linger, because he may have gotten this message. I don't recall seeing the orange billed caps last season. If they wore them the odds are I posted this somewhere on those days (& IIRC I posted it once during 2016).
