Black Friday Work Check

Are you working? Are you shopping? Are you sleeping one off?

Your fellow CPF'ers need to know RIGHT NOW!!!!

Working a half day today. Then we'll figure out a way to avoid any and all retail stores.

Day off. No plans to go anywhere near any shopping areas.

Re: Black Friday Work Check

D-Dad and both boys are working. If you call raking the leaves working. But nobody is at an office today.

I'm thinking of peeking my head into Bath & Body Works later - not the one at the mall, but the one at the strip mall that shouldn't be too much of a zoo vis-a-vis parking. Other than that the only shopping I have planned is at the supermarket (which should be really quiet today!).

Re: Black Friday Work Check

I tried to do some outsourced Excel work this morning but I had trouble con-
centrating and didn't accomplish much. This afternoon I think I'll work on some
of the left over beer from yesterday and watch a movie!

KB hit some stores this morning and I scored two pair of heavily marked down Old
Navy jeans (and some stuff from Modells that I wasn't allowed to see until xmas
morning) so that's the extent of my contribution to Black Friday retail today.

Does any other Dan song rock even close to this much?

Annual sojourn for Fkids and I to the local interactive kid friendly museum, the MOST (Museum of Science and Technology), which we do on Black Friday each year. Then a long nap. Just woke up to find everyone gone shopping. Nice of them to exclude me.

I worked all day. I performed eye exams on 21 people that apparently were willing to do just about anything to avoid going shopping on Black Friday.

For whatever reason, our office has always been busy on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Day off. We went to see "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" this afternoon. It's a truly great play.

I popped into the post office this afternoon. There were no other customers at all - it was nice, but at the same time a little freaky.

Then D-Dad and I wound up at Target tonight - took advantage of a couple of the sales, and by evening the crowds were relatively light.

The title is, but the play (and book) has nothing to do with Holmes. It's about a high-functioning autistic teen who finds his neighbor's dog has been killed and who goes out to find the killer. But the mystery is only the starting point (it's solved by the end of the first act).
