Is it wrong that I really want Jeter, A-Rod & Damon to tweak something and miss the first month or two of the season?

Still 2-0 in the ninth.

When Damon tripled, the announcers pretty much chalked up a run for the US with Jeter coming up, and declared how the scenario of an extra-base hit for Damon with Jeter coming up must really whet the appetite of Yankee fans. Naturally, the runner scored not.

He gets called for another (less dubious) half swing on a ball in the dirt. Two out.
