WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- Anderson Hernandez didn't know why. He just wasn't in the lineup for Licey of the Dominican League that day.
Playing for the Tigers this winter, the Mets prospect had been given the day off by manager Rafael Landestoy while major-league journeyman D'Angelo Jimenez got the start at second base.
The packed crowd inside Estadio Quisqueya wasn't happy about the lineup switch and once Jimenez, who is in camp with the Texas Rangers this spring, kicked a ball for an error, the fans made their displeasure known.
