I'm talking about Chris Sale, and not in a good way

Nats close to getting him Heyman says. Others say no go yet. Sale on the Nats is fucking scary. Should Sandy get involved even just to drive up the price? Steven Matz is more proven than Giolito. Where are teams like the Red Sox and Dodgers? Come on guys. Someone step up.

Giolito plus OF prospect Victor Robles (probably a top-30 overall prospect) and then some lesser stuff on top of that. Or at least them's the rumors.

Giolito and Robles could each be a cornerstone to a high-profile trade. Together? Well, that's a lot of rice.

Doing that will make it hard for them to acquire McCutchen, I would think, because I think one or both of them was in any Pittsburgh deal.

Curious, what would you guys reckon is a hypothetical NYM equivalent to Giolito/Robles/lesser stuff? You are encouraged to include TEBOW if deemed necessary.

If it's Matz + Rosario you have to consider making that move. You don't even hesitate if it's Matz plus Dom Smith. Have they no interest in C.J. Brucerson?

Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech, and two other prospects. That's a top-five prospect and a first round pick/top 100 prospect.

WOW, Yoan Moncada + other dudes. That's a heavier toll than Matz + Rosario/Giolito + Robles, I think. Glad he ends up not in the NL East.

HAH! Yesterday I didn't know who Chris Sale was and today I found myself desperately wanting him to not go to the Nationals! Now I can go ahead and forget about him until/unless the Mets play the Red Sox in the World Series.
