One of our grand nieces (who will be three in April) had emergency surgery to successfully remove a ping-pong-ball-sized mass from her neck today. She was diagnosed with Lemierre's syndrome yesterday and will be in the hospital for some time for observation and post-op treatment. Go Chloe!!

Thanks, everyone. She had a good night, cranky this morning about being hooked up to all kinds of hospital gadgets but who wouldn't be!!
