Split from Met Wishes for 2017

And the idea that Donald Trump specifically should never come up as an off-topic tangent, given his spectacular lack of qualifications and the incredible absurdity of his Presidency, is just silly. Or partisan. Or just another excuse to take a shot at me. Or all of the above. I'm certain that Michigan would never have posted his post (above) if Lunchbucket's off-topic Trump comment was the only one in this thread. You Republicans are outnumbered on this forum by liberals and Democrats by like a zillion to one, but I'm the only one bearing the brunt of you and Michigan's nasty (your own words) personal attacks. My posts are directed against Trump and his scary band of underlings, like Betsy Devos. And you guys respond by insulting me.

I'm trying to let this go and move on but it seems like you wanna keep this dialogue going on right here in this thread. And MGIM is nasty. To me. He said I wasn't capable of having an intelligent discussion on the issues. He said my posts aren't worthy of engagement. Wanna know why? Because the NYT and WaPo, among many many others, have been shitcanning Betsy Devos since day one and the bad stuff about Devos that's in our political threads doesn't even cover a quarter of the issues that makes this woman a terrifying abomination of a pick for Sec'y of Education. And that's supposed to be my fault. Because some non partisan group of global elections experts rated the USA lower than MGIM would have liked. So naturally, this makes me a bad guy. Because that same group rated Michigan's electoral system even worse than North Carolina's. Guess who gets the blame for that one? Like it's my fault that Michigan threw out 75,000 ballots from mostly Democratic Detroit and Flint and Trump won that state by about 10,000 votes nevermind that Michigan usually votes for a GOP President about as often as never.

The admins really need to make a decision here. There are two ways to stop this: ban politics in the baseball forum or ban Batmags. Either would be beneficial.
