This is a tough one, but I went with the Gsellman cover.

This really is a tough one! I'm going to give it more thought.

Picking Gsellman versus Lugo is tough enough as it is. But these covers are also so evenly matched!

*Both are wins against the Nats. Gsellman gets us on the board. Lugo takes the rubber game. Both were great games. PUSH
*The Lugo pic is an action shot, but the Gsellman reaction shot is still better. ADVANTAGE GSELLMAN
*Gsellman has the regular uniform, Lugo is wearing the tacky throwback. ADVANTAGE GSELLMAN
*GAME SETH MATCH is the much better headline. ADVANTAGE LUGO
*Lugo's subheadline is direct and to the point. Gsellman's is too wordy and clutters the cover. ADVANTAGE LUGO
*Gsellman has the Yankees losing. Lugo has them salvage one game. ADVANTAGE GSELLMAN
*But Gsellman also references the Mets losing the game before. ADVANTAGE LUGO

GAME SET MATCH a much better headline and I like how its composed such that Lugo isn't just on top of the mastead but reaching right through the page at you thanks to his glove obscuring the headline.

I would bet if this were a poll of newspaper art directors the Post would be crushing in here.

lol, I love this.
Tacky? Wha?

Gsellman by a bunch of hairs. This was tough though. Both excellent covers, both huge and great games.

I hadn't noticed this the first time, and it ended up being the tie-breaker for me.

Went with Seth; I won't even say it was by a hair. (oops)

It's game over for GAME SETH MATCH as THE HAIR APPARENT wins by a little more than a hair.

It's hard to believe, but as I'm posting this it's been about 23½ hours since the last post that was made in the Baseball Forum. I guess the Mets haven't been giving us much to talk about.
