Continuing the 2016-2017 offseason as a commitment to keeping the band together, the Mets have resigned Fernando Salas to a one-year deal for $3 million, plus incenteives, according to Kenny Rosenthal on the Twitter. Welcome back, Fernando.

I thought that maybe you were referring to this guy: It still seems very unlikely, but I'm starting to wonder if the 2017 Mets will challenge the record set by the 1988 club, where only four new players debuted for the Mets all season.
