Simple question: Who is your pick for Mets Spring Training MVP? Hitters and pitchers are eligible.

I'm going to pick Conforto for the MVP because I think he's motivated to have a strong spring.

I just made a wish for Plawecki so I gotta stick with it. Bats just south of .400, pops a few bombs, and the Mets find time for him at DH, and even a few reps at first base.

For me it's Kelvin Chapman. I always rooted for Butch Huskey. He wasn't great, but he wasn't bad, and he was fun to watch. I thought he'd finally made it when he landed with the Rockies in 2000, and hit .348. If he'd stayed there, he could have been Dante Bichette. But he signed with Cleveland and was never heard from again.

Butchie had a good half season with Seattle, too.

I know this may sound like bullspit, but I kinda had a feeling about Cecchini. Taijeron should do well, too.

Who was the big Cuban 1B that we had that never hit a lick in the regular season? I seem to recall him having a big spring or two.
