I almost didn't look at this because I thought it was last years

Two worthy candidates. Gonna sit on this a bit and think things through.

Sparse voting so far for the final round of this year's TCD. Are we losing interest in this thing just as it's about to end?

I think that there would be rioting in Sweden.

I'd better stock up on meatballs, fish and Ikea furniture, then.

This. I don't want to bypass the Captain but that Yo homer was so crucial. I'm torn!

People are still protesting that both BLADDER UP and YA GOTTA RELIEVE were somehow beaten by HAMMERS & THOR

Re: 2016 Tabloid Cover Derby Round 6.0.1 FINAL ROUND

I went with BOOM.

Both were terrific moments, but in different ways. In the Seeds game, the walkoff was somewhat anticipated, as it was bases loaded with one out. It was exciting and fun, but there was also a bit of retribution involved, as they had intentionally walked (I think it was) Matt Reynolds to get to Wright. Definitely a "Fuck you!" moment.

The Cespedes game was just the opposite. Out of nowhere. Two out, no one on. You jumped up and cheered, but also wondered "Why the fuck would they pitch to him?"

In the end, aesthetics tipped toward Boom. Both are terrific pictures, but the layout is better in Boom. The Seeds cover is cluttered and wordy. Plus the visual of the flying bat and the nonchalant look on Yo's face.

Barring a Falcons-like collapse, it looks like this may be our winner. A worthy successor to Yes-Pedes.

Sentimentality was creeping in to my decision because I have a fear that there might not be anymore Wright covers in our future if the Captains comeback falls flat. Part of me wanted the Wright to be the closing note on the season. But, having said that, I voted for CES BOOM BAH! because I remember how that home run got everything back on track again and the train kept'a rollin' from there on out.

Is the voting over?
The suspense is killing us.
We are waiting to buy our airline tickets to attend the installation ceremony.
And booking last minute hotel reservations will be a nightmare.
