A Cabrera solo shot in the first and a Doody Bomb in the second and the Mets are up 2-0.

A third solo homer in as many innings puts the Mets up 3-0, and makes me worried that the offense looks too much like last years, with too much of the surfeit of power wasted by not putting runners on base ahead of the homers. And on that note, Syndergaard coughs it up in the fourth. Your score is 3-3.

Ginger Ben Rowen throws another scoreless. Unblemished this spring in 6 1/3. He may be this spring's Big Jim Henderson.
