....and I'm changing my mind. 'Bad' is no longer my favorite U2 song. I'm going with 'New Year's Day'. How you guys doing?

I'm not a big U2 guy, but Under a Blood Red Sky would be on my top 20 favorite live rock albums of all time list if I had one.

I like "Achtung Baby." The song, "The Fly," especially. I remember that album sounded to fresh and different when it came out, but was still accessible. I think U2 goes through periods where they get a little pompous and serious, then drift back to accessibility. "No Line of the Horizon" was a big disappointment aside from "Magnificent." The last one was better, but still not that great.

I'm getting excited about the season and thought I'd jump back in the 'Pool for a dip. 'Bad' live is just fantastic but I have a U2 live album (U2 Go Home) and the live version of 'New Year's Day' is just phenomenal. So that inspired my change of heart. Irish will be back. I mean how many artsy pictures of El trains can one take before you go crazy?

OK, here's a U2 thing I don't understand. In "Pride," Bono sings "Early morning, April 4, shot rings out from a Memphis sky..." But King was shot at 6 p.m. He could have easily said, "In the evening, April 4" without messing up the number of syllables or breaking a rhyme. Why, Bono, why?

Never been a big fan of U2, but I don't dislike them either. Acthung Baby is my favorite album, probably because it came out when I was in college and sounded so different from their earlier stuff, which I didn't like so much at the time, but later on came around to liking more.

Bono is used to working musicians' hours. To him, 6 PM IS early morning!
