Hip Hip Hooray

Hubby having hip replacement surgery in the morning. Anybody been through it? Lots of preparation around the house plus since January the pain has progressed to the unbearable stage.

My uncle had his hip replaced two years ago, and was walking around pretty quickly. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Mr. Cooby!

They do great stuff these days with replacements. Hope he's back to normal in as short a time as possible.

My mom had it and she said it was the best thing she ever did. Pain disappeared like magic.

Just saw on fb that cooby is on the way to pick up her hubby from the hospital. She said hip replacement went well. Nice to hear that. Later

Kinda rocky night. Feeling better now... Nurse just visited and now we are waiting on PT. Cats are going crazy now that he's home

Thanks! He is facing going back to work next week and I think he's not feeling like it, lol. Who can blame him. But seriously, he's not really up to driving to State College yet so hopefully another few days will help that. I'll be able to help him with that and see some of my old friends
