Today's game starts at 7:35. No word yet on who else may have been injured since yesterday. Gsellman vs Teheran are the scheduled starters.

Fun fact - in 413 plate appearances against Teheran over his career, which isn't a small sample size at all, the Mets have hit .197/.273/.284.

I mentioned this the other day, but our pitchers have been great at give-back innings this year, and by great I mean lousy. Give them some runs and they can't seem to put up a Zero in the next half-inning. And here we have Gsellman going 2-for-2 in give-backs so far tonight.

Mets got a break to end the inning. A wild pitch bounces back to d' Ardnaud and the Mets are able to get an indecisive Teheran between 2nd & 3rd to end the inning.

This pitcher is the Jason Motte who was briefly a closer for the Cardinals with his big bushy beard. He then ran into all kinds of injury problems and I totally lost track of him. I only recognized him from his motion.
