These Are the Guys on the Interstate
Curtis Granderson: On I-59, looking for an exit around Tuscaloosa, AL.
Wilmer Flores: On I-71, draining his knee in a restroom near Walton, KY.
Juan Lagares: Is asking directions to I-33, puzzling bunches of fellow travelers who can't seem to explain to him that it doesn't exist.[/list:u]

These Are the Guys on the State Roads
T.J. Rivera: On State Road 100, caught in a bottleneck while trying to get on the Taconic.
José Reyes: On State Road 95, wondering where in the hell Bombay, NY, actually is, terrified that he's heading back to the Blue Jays.[/list:u]

Ty Kelly (and his 0-1) dreams of even getting his car back.

Desmond Lindsay: Playing for Columbia, but heading into Byhalia, Mississippi on I-22.

Tomás Nido: Crawling around the heartland late at night in his Rumble Ponies uniform, searching for a rumored I-47.

Remaining citizens of the interstate:

José Reyes is churning across Pennsylvania toward the Chemung-Tioga County line on I-86.

Wilmer Flores, Kevin Plawecki, and Matt Reynolds are all searching the Midwest (Michigan, Indiana, and Western Kentucky, respectively) for the mythical I-67.

Hopefully finally getting his car firing on at least two cylinders is Curtis Granderson, sputtering across Texas on I-37, asking if anybody's going to San Antone.

Drive I-86 (overlaps on Rt 17) regularly on our sojourns to the Maryland/Virginia areas. Beautiful southern tier driving there.

If there's one thing Fman knows about, it's Corningware!

Yep, agreed. It's been a few years, I think we're going to go back in July when my mom comes up for Fgirl's birthday. Only about a two hour drive from here.

After a nice hot streak, Reyes has gone 0 for his last 7 and is back on I-88, which is the fastest way to get to Binghamton.

He got robbed on a hot liner tonight though. His ABs look about a million times better. He should be grateful we put him on watch.

He's still popping up far too often, but at least those are happening less often than before and the stuff in between is getting better.

Amazingly, Grandy is up to .191 now.

Matt Reynolds and Kevin Plawecki, get with the program.

OE: That hit by Reynolds gets him up to .200! Call up Plawecki!

Wait! Don't!

Re: Let's Do It: The Get Off The Interstate NOW!!!! thread

Curtis Granderson wakes up this morning at .201 achieving (and hopefully completing) a long and winding exit from Interstate Limbo.

Unfortunately, José Reyes replaces him on that lost highway, having fallen to .197.

Matt Reynolds (.190) is riding shotgun in that car, while Kevin Plawecki (.125) bounces around in the way way back.

Ty Kelly has achieved exit velocity as a Phillie, raising his average to .217 between the two teams.

Re: Let's Do It: The Get Off The Interstate NOW!!!! thread

That double Reyes just hit was his third safety of the night, getting him up to .202.

This leaves Matt Reynolds (.185) and Kevin Plawecki (.125) as the only interstaters left on the team.

Ty Kelly's 0-1 helps him to a .190 average on the season as Met and Phillie.
