Polanco is beginning to show shades of former Phillie prospect Domonic Brown to me. Same type of tall build, lefty swinging, highly-rated prospect who's coming around slower than his team hoped. Not saying Polanco is destined for the same fate as he's still just 25 y/o. But he was a top-10 prospect pre-2014 who is still doing just eh. Brown,now 29, hasn't played in the majors since 2015 and is now toiling in the Colorado system at AAA Albuquerque with only mediocre results.

This season has been so bad that this wasn't even one of their top six worst losses. They sent Sewald out there and had no one warming behind him. That's why he was left out there so long. Harvey has the look of a guy who's been doing too much of something: booze, broads, drugs, I don't know. But he only seems intermittently focused.

Yeah, I don't know why there was no Plan B behind Sewald. When you've got that many pitchers, it's not particularly kind or thoughtful. "intermittently focused" seems about right. Which is more than he was two weeks ago, but still not enough.
