Seems like it's been a lot longer than 5 years.

Wow, I'll have to read that later... it's a longun!
I really always figured it would never happen in my lifetime.

I like how the conversation was about Carlos Beltran... until it wasn't.

F that. How awesome would it be if he sacrificed his whole career in pursuit of this goofy statistical oddity.

Have you considered a career in ... prophecy?

I wrote it like I was kidding, but I literally high-fived the dog because there was nobody else in the room.

I was one of those that was hung up on this probably a little more than it deserved. Ever since I was a kid, I would get excited as soon as the side went down in order in the first. This could be the night! Only to inevitably sigh just the slightest bit later when the first hit was registered.

It was thrilling to watch that game. I remember refusing to get up from my seat the last few innings afraid I would jinx things.

Where is Mike Baxter these days? Is he on twitter? Every Mets fan should give him a shoutout today.

The dog was like "I literally high-fived the dad. There was nobody else in the room."

he should be. There's a chance he's a no-capper.
