Perhaps you heard Howie and Josh welcome Gilbert Gottfried to the booth the other night. Howie mentioned he recorded an interview with Gilbert for the iHeart podcast. It's up here and it's good listening. Howie could be the new Virginia Graham if he so chose.

I heard that Gottfried did a Mets version of his Aristocrats routine in the booth, with the Wilpons in the role of the aristocratic family. Is that true?

The Man is a Genius. Gilbert, not Howie. Funniest performer I've ever seen and I don't know how he does it. Aristocrats elevated his profile but only for the 4th or 5th best kinda thing he does.

This makes total sense to me because I dig Gilbert Gottfried. I'd bet anything that Nomar can't stand Gilbert either.
