That Kiner line always makes me smile. My son and I have had a tradition since he was little- we always play catch on Father's Day. He's seen Field of Dreams many times and knows the cosmic angst that can erupt if he refuses, so he's always ready. We'll be going out into the back yard shortly to air it out for a bit. Next year, either he comes home for the weekend or I drag my glove down to Washington DC, but trust me, we're going to have that game of catch.

They know I wanted to watch this as its "searchable" but not streamable on Amazon tv.

First one without my dad. Very strange. Every innocuous commercial e-mail urging me to give this or that for Father's Day pissed me off, kind of like the Mother's Day onslaught has for the past 27 of those. Not to be a drip about it. I hope those who had the chance to enjoy it enjoyed it.

Nothing drip about it, grieving sucks bhmc. There are a lot of extraordinary people here and they are that way in large part because of their parents. I salute your Dads!!
