A triple crown of insane wildness. The only two outs he got came on one pitch when the batter made the mistake of putting the ball in play. He even left behind some bad juju on the ball, as his catcher allowed a stolen base and made two throwing errors, and the pitcher who succeeded him came in and immediately delivered a wild pitch and a walk. It's the sort of inning that gets a catcher winded. I've got to hand it to the Mets. When they take on a project, they take on a project. Daniel Bard, you can be certain that I'm rooting for you. That's the spirit. Build on the positives. It's hard to imagine a worse inning of baseball.

I actually erred in that report. Bard wasn't pitching for the St. Lucie Mets. He was pitching for the GCL Mets.
