And Trump insists that the White House isn't in disarray.

Re: Memories of Anthony Scaramucci

I was hoping he'd get involved in some kind of sordid scandal, and Manfred would make him sell his share of the Mets for the good of baseball. I'm just hoping Trump isn't booting him so that he can become Secretary of State or something.

You've got to be a jerk of epic proportions to have a wife who is 9 months pregnant file for divorce from you.

He did. We've just normalized "sordid" and "scandal" so much that it doesn't seem to qualify.

But it does.

From a Facebook friend -

Goodness. I've had periods last longer than Scaramucci's White House tenure.

Actually not surprising. Kelly came on as the Chief of Staff. Apparently he was given control over Communications (Which Reince lost when Mooch came on board). And Kelly, being the military type, wasn't going to stand for The Mooch freelancing all over the place.

This bodes well for Kelly actually bringing some order to the food fight that is the West Wing these days. Not that he wasn't entertaining while it lasted.

My friend Giuseppe (Joe) from Chicago wrote:
Proud of the Cubs organization today...Steve Bartman was a year under me in high school and we played opposite each other in Damn Yankees. He played Shoeless Joe and I played Mr. Applegate. If you're unfamilair with the story, Joe makes a deal with Mr. Applegate (i.e., the devil) so that Joe's beloved Washington Senators can beat the Yankees to win the pennant. Since the 2003 incident, I've thought about how coincidental this all was. Joe ends up coming to his senses by the end of the story....I'm glad the Cubs (and hopefully Cubs fans) have as well....Here's to you, Steve....

Why was that in this thread?
Anyhow, Mooch is a cretinous slimeball. And those are his good points.

Re: Memories of Anthony Scaramucci

Please, don't call him "Mooch." It empowers him to use his public life to push his personal brand. Foul though it may be, the more traction it gets, the more the joke is on us.

Think about this one for a moment. The guy actually tried to pass of a book with this title on the public:

And now, after 10 days in government, he's sold off his company, lost his family, and been thrown over by the guy who he constantly professed his love and loyalty to, just like Trump will throw everybody over.

I think you're overthinking a little.
My memory of him will be DGW's line about doing the fandango. Other than that,
Mooch is dead to me. Not that he was ever alive to me.
